Do you need help using certain new technologies? Are you curious about some of the Library’s electronic resources? Make an appointment to meet with a librarian for a free, personalized help session.

How to:

 

• Access an online library account to manage renewals, make reservations, receive personalized interest lists, and more;
• Create an account and access the City’s platform to register online for activities.
• Search the collections using the library catalogue;
• Discover and use the different electronic resources offered by the Library, such as e-collections, courses, and reference tools;
• Borrow an e-book and download it to a device;
• Create an email address and use an email account; 
• Download files and organizing them using folders; 
• Navigate the Internet and do online research (popular browsers, search engines); 
• Use Word (introduction); 
• Fill out online forms.

Don’t have one? No problem – mention it when you sign up and the Library can provide a laptop or iPad for the session.

 

 

The service is reserved for Library members.
